“Bring back the Water Carnival!”
This has been a regular plea by local residents, and no wonder! It was a marvellous spectacle involving the entire community.
Knaresborough has had more than its fair share of festivals over the years and KMA’s volunteers are busy helping us research the fun side of life in Knaresborough.
By exploring newspapers, archives, and conducting local interviews, we hope to showcase 150 years of fun, games and frolics in the town.
